What is a sidecar tour?
A sidecar is a passenger vehicle attached to a regular motorcycle. It provides safety and comfort for people who are new to riding, yet still offering the open-top freedom of a motorcycle. With Pegasus Sidecar Tours, your private driver and guide will take you on a tour around the beautiful San Diego area in our top-of-the-line 2-person sidecar rigs. This means 2 passengers can sit in the sidecar, and a third behind your personal driver and guide. Our helmets are equipped with industry leading SENA communication system offering 4-person HD audio connectivity, so you can talk directly with one another & with the guide during the entire tour.
Our sidecars are made in U.S.A., just up the coast in Los Angeles. Our growing fleet includes the big bike industry leaders such as the Harley Davidson Electra Glide Classic, & the Honda Gold Wing, each providing a unique experience; rugged American muscle versus smooth Japanese engineering.
It's Safe and comfortable!
Our sidecar has a wide seat that seats two, each with their own seat belt. All riders will be provided a DOT approved helmet. The sidecar's wheel also features its own disk brake, as well as adjustable suspension for more ride comfort. A large lockable trunk securely stores your belongings, and a 12 volt outlet can charge your small electronics. Pets are also allowed to ride along, for what is life without our furry friends! There is even a convertible top that can enclose the sidecar in case (by some rare chance in Southern California) it rains, or if your pet feels more comfortable that way.
It's Fun and exciting!
Bring your smile, your camera and your sunscreen, and prepare to have some fun! You will get a panoramic open-top view, perfect for sightseeing. Riding in the sidecar is such a unique experience that you will feel the exhilarating sensation of speed even if you are only moving at an average speed of 25 mph. The experience is so unique, don't forget to snap some pictures and share it with others, because, after all, there just is no better way to experience California than cruising the coast on a motorcycle!
